About Coloring History
Coloring History is a series of coloring and story books about real people who changed the world. Each book follows one person from childhood to their biggest moments in 18 scenes to color. Beside every picture is a short page, 30 to 50 words, that a first grader can read alone.
How the books are made
Every book starts with research. Dates, places, and quotes are checked, and legends are labeled as stories rather than told as facts. The pictures show each person at the right age, in the right clothes, with tools from their own time.
The sets
Books come in themed sets of ten. The first set is about scientists and inventors. Next comes a set about great leaders, told from the side of the people they led, and later sets about explorers and more.
About the author
Benjamin Blair writes Coloring History from Denver, Colorado. He started the series to give kids a fun, honest first meeting with the people who shaped our world.
